The power of true knowledge
Our view of life might not be real, therefore life may not always answer to our expectations the way we think it should. Our knowledge about how things work might be erroneous and might have been the cause of our many of our disappointments and failures. Life may have been unfair to us because of some of our wrong believes.
Things have not been turning out to us the way we want, if at all it's turning out it's turning out by chance, and because we don't have explanation to it we can't reproduce it. We often conclude that life is unpredictable.
We often believe that everything in life happens by is miracle. Becsuse occurenses seem to be beyond our control. We constantly live in fear, anxiety, uncertainty because life seems to be beyond our control, we constantly live at the mercy of God or the gods who could bring good to us and constantly at the fear of the "devil" who could bring evil. Hence prayers and supplication to attract good avert evil.
Life remains unpredictable and we are perplexed, the greatest part of life to anyone is to be sure of what his tomorrow will bring. At least to some extent one should be able to say by this time tomorrow I will be having so so amount. This is not a planless hope but because of certain things that one has put in place-plans based on plan and principles. The chances of someone who is earning salary of 50,000 to realise 50,000 at the end of every month supperceed the chances of a person who is not working to 50,000 every month.
Man proposes God proposes is not true, God is not a waster. Disappointment may come due to one mistake at one point or the other that we are not aware of due to lack of one knowledge or the other.
Knowledge is the principal thing. It reduces the of mistakes we make everyday and we can successfully know what our end will be.
Things are not happening the way we want it not because we have prayed enough or not fasted or because some powers are behind it, if at all there's is power or force behind it, it is the power of ignorance.
If we are in a trade or profession let us gather enough knowledge that will make us function effectively to the point that we will reach the top we long for.
If you are a tailor, learn it well. If you are a mechanic learn it well. Anything you do, do it well and it shall be well.

Are religious books (Bible Qur'an) men's writing or divine?
Are religious books (Bible Qur'an) men's writing that's endowed with divinity?
Do they exit outside man? Are they not man's invention? It seems to me as if its a writing about the traditions and culture of some people, their myth, the experience of their men especially their men of valour, their history, thoughts of their wisemen and so on.
But what we have been told is that these books are given by God as if man was not involved in the process of the writing.
The guise that these books are from God stops people from questioning some questionable aspect of it.
It seems to me that accepting these books as books writing by God and practicing them is a means of forcing people to accept some people's culture. The culture of some people that has been sacralized, made divine as the only acceptable culture way of life from God.
People adopt other peoples religion, history, myth way of life, dressing (hijab) and so on because it has been said that God has given those things to men and man will not want to go against God.
It is needful to know that in defending these tradition put together in books, various things have happened Ranging from violence act, duping people, killing, discrimination and so on. If God had truly sent these things to men let them fight for themselves not that we will be killing ourselves and God will keep quiet and be watching those who claim to be his own dying in the hands of those who claim to be killing in his name.
To me all these things are merely acculturation and nothing more. Nevertheless if you see something worth emulating, emulate it.

DOES GOD ACCEPT ANY RELIGION
God created water and everyone on earth accepted it for its function without being preached to or forced to accept.
Why do we claim a particular religion to be of God and yet people can't accept it naturally the same way they accepted water for drinking without being forced?
We have different kind of drinks yet one doesn't affect the use of the other except their producers wants you to love one than the other not because one is actually better but because the seller/producer needs your patronage and loyalty.
But that one is drinking coke doesn't stop from drinking fanta nor ordinary water except by preference of taste and ones health status not because one God wants us to be drinking coke only. In fact all who drinks coke or fanta still drinks water.
Religious adherents are like cocacola producer who will want your loyalty at all cost thereby cajoling you that all other drinks are bad except his own. Its better we return to our state of nature and worship God the way we want and be not confused by anyone.

OAU ACADEMIC CALENDER IS STILL ON COURSE.
As the students of Obafemi Awolowo University (Oau) ile life are in confusion over the strike declared by the university Asuu chairman D. Adeola Egbedokun, who in his statement at the union congress held yesterday 6th November, 2018 said, "the strike is total. No teaching, no exam, no statutory functions. We are not doing anything except observation of the national body." After this, he address the students that were present saying, "we hereby tell our students that we love them and we don't want to loose any of them at the cause of anything that may happen during the industrial action."
Owing to this, the university registrar has released a circular to the university community assuring them that the academic calendar for the 2017/2018 academic session is very much on course. As there are no plans to compel students to vacate the campus until the end of the year holidays.
He thereby ensure the welfare and safety of students and staffs respectively.
